can i get a little love for Art House Director?? it's the single that's been competing with Terrible Love, Stay Lucky, and Animal Backwards lately believe it or not... I know, some of those are weird choices.

Its good, and I can see how people could love it, but I'm not really digging it at the moment. Do not despair, I have a tendency to listen to songs months after the initial release and go "how did I not like this?"
I expect that'll happen with some of the songs here, including "Art House Director".

Excellent album: lots of great singles (World Sick is one of the top five tracks of the year, while songs like Sweetest Kill are so chill you can hear the summer wine being poured as they play), plenty of variety, and the parts fit together into an awesome whole. BSS at the their best, I think.

gotta love YFIIP--had that great experience where i had no idea what to expect going into it and just had a lot of fun the whole way through listening to it the first time simply because it was so damn good. it's lacking a bit of 'connection', i guess?, to be in my personal top albums, ever or of the decade. but it's just really good either way.
