This is so true unfortunately, that's why their last album is their best by a country mile, it actually shakes things up and every track has a distinctive sound, a massive improvement

Remixed version sounds fantastic. Given this is one of their most dissonant and aggressive albums, the original recording lends incredibly well to the thinner more black metal-ish production, but the added clarity on the remix makes the bass and percussion stand out more in the wall of sound.
