Thats cool, it makes sense to consider him a band member since Neurosis considers visuals a large part of who they are.

Also, is it true that he's an elementary school teacher? I've read that on a few websites. I just can't imagine that.

I could, the guy seems like a calm, spiritual kind of person.

At the same time he's the same guy screaming and creating some of the darkest (and best) music with Neurosis. I know that's how he releases his negative emotions, but it's still weird to imagine that same guy is teaching children.

I wouldn't give two shits if someone of his stature was teaching my children as long as he proved himself to be competent. That's where society misinterprets metal musicians as big, mean assholes who have little to no intelligence whatsoever.

I'm not saying that I have a problem with it, at all. You would still be shocked if your child's first grade teacher played in an extreme metal band, I don't care who you are. Hell, I think I respect him even more for that.

Sorry, got a little defensive there hahaha. And I agree about being shocked except for me, I've been blasting shit like this for ten plus years so no shock factor would really come from me hahahahaha.

I think you know what I mean though. Giving this a 4 for now, but it might become a 4.5 later.

Still feel like I owe Steve for teaching me those things on guitar. Seriously couldn't hold my boner in his presence.
