Yeah couldn't finish it. I don't know if it's a combination of him singing an English plus annoying production tricks, and on top of that, super predictable songwriting. There are some good moments, first two tracks, and the ones in icelandic (if they were shorter). The features are horrible.

One of the most inspiring albums of the year, both from a songwriting and production standpoint. J�nsi's strengths as a vocalist and writer are on full display, but the meticulous and wild production really takes good songs and innovates them in consistently fresh ways. Not quite the sophomore album expected given Go, but in my opinion an improvement on every front.

Bizarrely that doesn't appear to be the case, unless all those other 5s are also on Warner. No idea tbh. Some of the production choices here are 'wild' - albeit not in a pleasing way.
There's some okay material in there, but a lot of unengaging stuff and the features in particular are actually grating. I think you had it spot on Dewi (although no doubt my score will be harsher, as expected).

Yeah I still have a soft spot for the man. I may give it another shot, salvage smth for a playlist here n there but all in all it wasn't as good as I personally expected for someone like him.
