Yeah this one's totally confusing me...cause I mean, it's not a bad melo-death record by any means...it's actually pretty entertaining in its own right...so why am I pretty disappointed with the final product?

people seem to be forgetting that this band's work, outside of the closure ep, was pretty mediocre...seems like this just brought them down to where they were...ps The Absence is really the only terrific song they've made...

dammit i love it when this band does the things they do like the ending to apart...just repeating a dual haunting melody over and over again until its buried into your head

One listen through and I'm actually enjoying this a lot more than I expected. Maybe it's because I was expecting a disappointment, idk...but I like this a lot. Maybe not as astounding as Closure but still damn good, though I can admit that a few of the songs are a few minutes too long.

in ruins is the best

Didn't hear that the singer left. If that's the case then this band is pretty much shot, he was their biggest asset. Too bad, really.

Yeah. This album definitely failed to live up to potential. If it was a debut album I think it would have been received better. I think they can probably get a suitable replacement. His growls were good but nothing that anyone else isn't doing and his cleans were passable but never phenomenal.
