The vocalist definitley has moments where he sounds like Keith, but it's not all the time and it's not enough to detract from the fact that he still has a good voice. Kinda surprised by this really, Silent Treatment was rather average whereas this feels like it's really going to grow on me

I agree deviant. They took things a step forward and it's not easy within metalcore to do that anymore.

Not the most innovative CD (not even close) but to provide a solid listen in such a stagnant genre is impressive itself.

Not sure what to rate this yet, given it a few listens, atm it's somewhere between a 3.5-4, though probably closer to a 3.5.

Could never get into The Bled before, but this album certainly has it's moments...

I think i'll stick with a 3.5, it's got some great bits, but at the same time there's nothing making want to come back and listen to it on repeat...

This is a good review. The only fault I have with it is the time you take to justify the supposed differences between The Bled and Every Time I Die. It just seems a little unnecessary to me.

Spun this twice last night. While 'Crawling Home' and 'Need New Conspirators' were the only ones that really caught my ear, I'm pretty sure that I liked it. I just hope that after a couple more listens it doesn't bleed together so much. Oh yeah, I really like how big everything sounds on this release.

Oh yeah, good review holmes.

Need New Conspirators is really the best song on this CD. And thank you for the props

This album actually really surprised me. I didn't like Silent Treatment that much, but the couple times i've listened to this album, its kicked my ass. Although the vocalist does sound kinda like Keith Buckley, it doesn't really matter cause he's awesome.

Absolutely loving this, my favourite record of the year so far. 4.5 is probably a little generous, but it feels better than a 4.

I really like the heaviness of this record, but I like the clean vocals on Silent Treatment better... as well as the mellow songs. Good record, but ST had better contrast. Pass the Flask is still the shit though.
