Album is really good, but Holy Wood is and always will be his best.

Definitely his catchiest album to date. Can't deny that.

Many of my favourite songs are on Mechanical, but I can't stand a lot of the other songs on it.

This album is the worst of M.M. to me. It's a good album, the lyrics are sometimes funny, with Mr. Manson playing with words, like in the song 'Vodevil' ('fagazines' - faggot + magazine) or in the title track (Gloominati - gloomy + Illuminati) and some great melodies, but there are also songs that sound boring and repetitive.
Manson always does something to his albums sound different of the other, but when I listened to this album I thought that it brought nothing new, just the same old sound.

I strongly agree with you. I thought this album was awful, especially for Manson.

I like Antichrist Superstar, but yeah he's kind of overrated. But then again I hate saying that because I respect the man so much, watching interviews with him is way more interesting than listening to the majority of his music imo.

I haven't seen any recent interviews with him come to think of it...I'm basing all of this off of the 90s interviews/early 2000s when he was more controversial and in the spotlight.
