you come into Portal with a background in Behemoth and then act like you know what you're talking about but then try to say that you don't. i don't give a fuck whether or not you like this, i don't give a fuck what you think about me either, but i do know that you listened to this once, maybe twice, couldn't really distinguish anything and immediately filed it away as 'sub-par'. like i said before, you're the same as that idiot who doesnt listen to black metal at all then thinks Grand Belial's Key is shit. just stop trying dude.

If somebody malleable sees this album, looks at all these elite metalheads who think portal is the best shit in town, and then see a few negative ratings, theyll be less inclined to yield to the masses. I care about this because ultimately people use this site to let other people know about the music they enjoy, therefore supporting their favourite artists.

You asked me if I knew a band that sounded like Portal, and I ghave you one. My background is not in "Behemoth" it is in metal and common sense. Common sense to tell when i'm going to pretend to like an album that is meant to be good or disregard it.
And saying "I couldn't really distinguish anything" is just wrong. I heard what was happening in the later tracks and I liked some of what I heard, but this is not going to be something I particularly want to come back to.
I'm glad you liked it. I wish I liked it too. I wish every album I hear I liked...
