This may go up to a 4 with subsequent listens, but right now it seems a little repetitive, lacks energy and doesn't really interest me as much as I thought it would. Plus the vocals are way too far down in the mix, which kinda pisses me off.
I will keep listening to it though in the hope that it clicks.

i don't think it's a classic either, but i think it's very impressive for such an unrecognised band. they have a very original style, also. kind of a melding of all sorts of things.
the concept of colonial australia is very well done.

Yeah Michael, it's definitely a grower. I had this at a 3.5 on the first few listens too. But then after a while it grew ridiculously.
