How the hell can you have fifty percent no originality? Seems like it's a yes or no question to me.
I don't think this album deserves a five, no matter what your rating scale is.

how is this album a three when the ratings of the individual songs themselves are mostly in the range of 4-5? Does the album have like gelling problems?

all i have to say is that this is MUCH improved over 14 Shades of Gray, at least the songs are different from each other on this. go ahead and debate and argue if you must.

Staind are pretty good compared to most mainstream music that borders rock and nu-metal.

yes, but when it comes down to that, they are more of nu-metal than mainstream rock. mainstream rock would be like breaking benjamin, seether, stuff like that. still pretty good, although breaking benjamin is much better IMO

Um, I'd like to get into Staind, but I don't know what to start with. I heard the song, It's Been Awhile, from my cousin, and downloaded it. I can't stop listening to it. Can anyone reccomend anything by Staind?

Edit: This is a pretty good review, especially for first. If it was 10th or 15th, I'd vote neither way, but since it's first, I'll vote positive. By the way, (just a suggestion)track-by-tracks are a lot better, if you type 4 or 5 paragraphs before the tracklisting. But not a bad effort, nonetheless. This Message Edited On 09.17.06

start with either of thier first two CD's 'Dysfunction' and 'Break The Cycle'. prefferebly 'Break The Cycle' because it is more maistream and easier to listen to, plus it has that song on it. from this CD, listen to "Right Here" or "Falling", the two singles from the albumThis Message Edited On 09.17.06

but yes Onewaytrip2hell, listen to anything but 14 Shades of Gray, that is what is good by these guys, if you loved I'ts Been Awhile, you will love the song 'Outside', it is my personal favorite from these guys

Just downloaded it. Almost as good as It's Been Awhile. I'll probably end up liking it as much, once I've listened to it awhile. This Message Edited On 09.17.06
