Still dont get the big deal on the vocal transition...

I still don't get why people think this is bad. And there's really no way this is not average, because this is a better listen than a lot of similar bands. But whatever.

I'm biased, but this album is great for what it is. I'm not typically into metal or hardcore, but I LOVE this album, mostly for their lyrics. Their live show sounds amazing. Anyone who disagrees has only watched youtube videos taken on crappy cameras.
I guess you can attribute this to my unfamiliarity with the specific genre, but I'm not sure what everyone means when they call them "gimmicky." Is it the auto-tune? The high-pitched singing? Personally I don't think WCAR overuses either, but maybe the mere presence is too much for some of you...

maybe you just don't understand how over populated the genre is, and how each clone band uses breakdowns as a gimmick and a crutch as a (poor) substitute for writing good/new music. It has its moments, but like i feared, this grew off of me.

Yea, I don't think WCAR are doing anything too original. They seem like just another metalcore sing/scream band, except with really impressive production.
They do it pretty well, but its nothing new. Also, all of the clean vocal parts sound exactly the same

Dreams and Broken Statues stand out... sadly, other tracks really don't.

Yeah i might bump this up to a 2.5, but this is nothing special. Decent though.
Yeah a 2.5 is appropriate.
By all accounts, this is fantastically average.

T-Pain is in a post-hardcore band? Who would have guessed?

Its a solid album except for one major flaw. I feel like every song was structured the SAME EXACT WAY. Still good though

I listened to the first three songs, I don't think it'll get a rating any higher than a 3 from me, but it's not horrible.

"Also, all of the clean vocal parts sound exactly the same"
That's my main problem with the album. I don't really care for the clean vocals. In fact, they're kind of annoying.

clean vocals are definately annoying. I hate auto-tune, what a gimmick

auto tune annoys the hell out of me. Rest of the album is just above average.

I like what I've head off this album, although that was only about 4 songs...I'll be wary listening to the rest of it.

album is uber top loaded
some of these songs could be quite good if it weren't for crappy cheesy bits. intentions, i'm looking at you.

I'm gonna check this out later; I streamed it once through and liked it a lot, but I'm gonna take more listens.

Also...doesn't the auto-tune, as horrible as it is, kinda go along with the band's genre? They have a super electronic sound, they use a lot more keyboards than other metalcore bands. So it's kinda fitting.

ok im not gonna lie the screams on this are pretty fuckin epic.

Average - to say the most. Nothing really original about the band or their songs. Just seems like something 'along the lines' that everyone else is trying to do. There are a few worthy songs on this album, but nothing to be amazed over.
