yes i read that about xtc a while ago, partridge saying something along the lines of wanting to be a sort of psychedelic pop band that had fun and stayed true to their english roots

This album is growing on me, though oddly enough lead single Starstruck is proving to be one of the album's worst, so much so that it almost feels out of place
