I swear this album is EVIL. It has grown on me more than I could possibly imagine... its scary. I can believe how much I like it now, considering how much I disliked it at first. This holds my record of the albums that has grown the most on me.

What does it matter, Emery sucks anyways.

I still listen to Wind Up and Edge of Summer off this but I got my huge fill of this album 3-4 years back.

You know that there is something strange going on when at first you give this album a 2, and now it ends up as a 4.5

My rating hasn't changed, and if it ever does I could see it going up much easier than down. My only beef with this album atm is the singer's screams - they don't sound very full or something.

Ya Geoff isn't the best singer/scream around but he fits the music well.

i don't think the screaming on this album is bad, i think it's totally the opposite.. it's not the generic screamo thing. i think it has "feeling" and it's intense, and matches well with the clean vocals

This album took me a real long time to get into, almost a year. Everytime I put it on to try to listen to it, I eventually turned it off about 5 songs in, but then one day it just totally clicked and now it's one of my top 10 albums of all time.

cross out the eyes, paris in flames, understanding in a car crash... all fucking awesome. i liked a lot of the songs really quick, and they don't get old fast.This Message Edited On 11.26.08

what strikes me about them is that despite having a somewhat strange sounding singer, not great production, etc, the sheer strength of their songwriting makes them one of the best bands of the genre. understanding in a car crash is probably my favourite from this.
