Sometimes I ask myself what my favorite song of all time is.

Then I listen to the first 2 minutes of "Where the streets have no name" and I remember.

Where The Streets, alone, should drive that rating up a point or so

But it is stupid you can't give a 1 to some records.

They've got a very "one size fits all" approach to spirituality, but I'm a big-tent guy, so the reliance on good feeling is pretty appealing.

this band might be awful now, but the hate for this and War (mainly this) always baffled me and the worst part is that usually comes from people who 5'd 3 Smiths albums, 3 REM albums, 2 XTC, albums and like Weezer and Oasis or some shit.

Yeah, I don't think I understand someone whose metric for the worst music imaginable is U2. That's just not the world I live in, I guess.

I mean, the self-seriousness and doomed quest for continued relevance are certainly bummers. Still, I like the idea of a big-tent rock band being around. Music for Hugging.

Yeah, the first three tracks are the peak. But man, what a peak.

Legendary album that stands the test of time Superb musicianship, plenty of memorable songs, passion, and a great atmosphere. Excellent lyrics and a brilliant vocal performance by Bono throughout.

Easily in the top 10 for 1987, which was a stellar year for many genres of music.

Flushes overrated albums like 'You're Living All Over Me' and 'Music for the Masses' down the toilet.

Also crushes anything by Radiohead.
