MJ, do a review of Blackwater Park but make it more epic than Shadows' review.

MJ, can you write a review more epic than this one? http://www.sputnikmusic.com/album.php?albumid=7671

Okay, I'm curious to see how it compares to some of the piano orientated stuff on this. I hope I'm not disappointed.

You've piqued my interest in Ravel honestly.

I'm still very into this however, must be because i'm a sheep.

Okay, hopefully after a couple of listens I can become some kind of classical music connoisseur and all other music will become null and void

Ahhh, some common ground!

I quite liked that Ravel piece, I'm not sure I'm currently in the mood nor the circumstances to really listen to it at the moment though so I'll have another go at it tomorrow.

That Ravel piece was very interesting...really enjoyed the strings. Didn't seem overtly complex but it was very ethereal.

I started piano 11 or so years ago when I was 5 I believe...I stopped being serious with it a few years ago to favor myself more as a percussionist but there are times where I want to pick it back up. I should probably work on that over the summer.

Yo MJ you're the Sputnikmusic classical expert right? I was wondering if you could recommend me any good piano-led peices as I revise better when listening to Chopin and have been looking to expand my selection.

Edit: Just realised you mentioned that Ravel piece earlier in the thread. I'm checking that out now.
