I think it would be fair to say that he’s somewhat of an enigma, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he’d already written at least an album’s worth of high quality material and then scrapped it. The fact that clips were posted of him recording it, as well as Aldrahn talking about it nearly being done, leads me to believe that even more. He said at one point that he wanted to hire ‘jazz musicians’, in order to take their sound in the direction he wanted. If we do ever get a second album, I don’t think it will sound anything like the first, because that moment has passed. He’s one of the most talented riff writers the genre has produced.
