Wouldn't go quite that far, yet, but it's up there with the best, fosho. And I don't know 'bout the shirt... don't want any heavy flow jokes.

FALL TO YOUR KNEES AND PRAY FOR MERCY!!!

(in another context that would have been so m3tuhll)

Damn I would have loved to watch you lose it over a 14 year old with a keyboard.

This sounds pretty good based on the reivew. First thing I thought of when I saw this was Return from Exile. They have the same kind of thing going on, and their vocalist(s) have some pretty crazy range. Zipper, I reccomend you check them out if you like this, which I find to be alright so far.

Been listening to this album pretty much non-stop since I got involved in this thread. Still find it to be awesome.

In "The Sound, The Flood, The Hour"... the part where he's screaming "YOU CAN PRAY FOR MERCY!" how he alternates from a growl on "mer" to a shriek on "cy". So outrageously sick.

Also, I don't mind the middle-ground yell nearly as much as you do in your review. I think it kind of works. Just adds a little more to the hardcore aspect of their deathcore sound.

It sounds gross to me. I wish he would just stick with screams.

I really like this guys vocals. You can actually make out a lot of what he is saying. Too bad most of the lyrics are overtly Christian. Not that it's a bad thing. It's just not what I want to hear.

Had these guys on MySpace before they signed to Metal Blade...haven't heard anything off of this album yet though, but your review makes it sound promising. I'll have to check it out.

Do so. It's really a standout release from a relatively stale genre.

This band is a 3 minute song band.

Too bad their songs are like 5 minutes, or else they would be great.

Fair enough except I've just found them and haven't heard good deathcore in a very long time (emphasised by my WOP review).

Albums looking like 3-3.5.

Vocals sound way to similar to BDM's. Actually, BDM is just a better band in general.

They're completely different genres.

Aside from the mid ranged vocals, I think that Saud is by far one of the BEST vocalist in the genre. Unlike many, he can hit the highs in a great sounding way, and also unlike many, his lows go into (or border) real Death Metal and not just some shitty Despised Icon shit lows.
