Makes me happy that this still gets love from time to time. Very nostalgic stuff for me.

I've only checked side 2 so far and it is pretty consistent

But I've read side 1 isn't as good

Well, side 1 is slightly weaker but not that much, this is still extremly solid for me

Lol I suppose people don't use the terminology that much nowadays. I am since I'm used to listen to older stuff

Basically second half of the album>first half

you have the 2006 edition (14 tracks) or the 2008 (12 tracks, different track listing, and better production job)?

14 tracks

2008 is the one by Nujabes right? The two tracks it leaves out are among my favs in here so I think I'd prefer the original version

Yeah, and I regret them taking those two off but I do really like the boosted sound quality and rearranged track order. Lionheart instead of Eve as an opener works better and I like that Anthem ends it off. The sides, halves, sound more balanced and even imo.

Yeah. The original sounded off to me production wise (could have been the copy i had dl). But when I heard the 2008 it sounded a lot better and up to par with the job on his following records. Let you judge though. I do really wish they kept the other two tracks though.

I didn't even know about the og version, just checked and it seems the remaster is the one I've been listening to (and it starts with Lionheart). Intrigued now, even if you think it isn't quite up to the same standard.
