I wasn't expecting much after hearing them say it'd be "progressive" and (supposedly) not having Adam D. produce it (I could swear that was in the news here.....)

I think I posted that news. I wasn't expecting a mircale from this after As Daylight Dies but I wasn't expecting it to pretty much end up as a weaker version of it.



The jokes about As Darkness Falls always make me laugh, even though they are usually pretty retarded.

I was so excited for this. I was hoping that, after reading interviews of them saying it had some surprising stuff on the new record, I was thinking, "it's gonna be like AOJB!"



and then i listened to this steaming pile of overprocessed, too catchy, semi-metal horseshit.

Their live shows must really suffer with this material.... the clean vocal parts aren't epic anymore, and the songs aren't heavy enough to bring the mosh anymore
