It definitely tugs on the heart strings.
I haven't listened to the acoustic version of ocean avenue, is it just as good killer?

it's all on youtube, very easy to find
back home is especially well done acoustically
ditto for only one and one year six months ago
(Yeah, one year six months ago was already acoustic, but they reworked it into a piano tune)

Killerhit Thanks! I pretty excited to hear the full album stripped down acoustically.

Should I give this a try if I love Rough Landing Holly?

Unlike most people this was one of my more favorite yellow card albums...you can tell they really attempted to mature their sound..but cry baby fans didn't support them like they could have. The music is much more complicated and symphonic. Ryan Key really puts his feelings into his album. Martin Sheen and JFK is easily a top five yellow card song for me....I know I'm on the side less visited but this album may be my favorite tied with southern air. Paper Walls was my least favorite hands down...it was like they matured in Lights and Sounds, and then they digressed.

this album was a weird first album to listen to from these guys, but because of that it's become my favorite album of theirs. Paper Walls is a close second. I've felt the albums that are most praised by them are the ones that bore me a little more. I find both Southern Air and Ocean Avenue to be overrated, even though I do like both albums quite a bit.

Tbh I only remember like 3-4 tracks off this, might listen today just because the anniversary and whatnot. Oceans Avenue jams tho a lot of it has to do with nostalgia for me
