Check out the new Ulcerate, it's like a solid 4.5 for me.

Not too bad. Way too repetitive, though.

I've really started to like this, and I usually hate this genre. Band name is awesome.

The drums sound massive. Their production reminds me of Akeldama, which is probably a turn-off for some

Boring synthetic blasting drums, "neo-classical-malmsteem-warmup" solos, generic brutal death riffs... Not a bad album, because it's still brutal and have some nice songs ("At The Guillotine" and "Infection of the White Throne" and its skull crushing chorus ! lml ) but it's not the death metal album of the year for me.

P.S : And I don't like those tech death bands a la Hour of Penance, Deeds of Flesh and Spawn of Possession etc... So it's probably why I don't like Fleshgod neither.

hour of penance, spawn of possession and deeds of flesh don't really sound anything alike

Well, maybe I will listen to it more carefully, but this fucking synthetic drums sounds on all these recent records are VERY annoying. It's also the case for Brain Drill, but I find this band funny, because their riffs are ridiculously technical and twisted.

But I now that Hour of Penance is different from SoP or DoF, it's more brutal and a bit less technical (juste like Fleshgod I think), but I don't like those for some reasons.

I'd rate this album with a 3.5 at least if the drums weren't so overproduced. Christ.

dam man....2 minutes into sophistic demise is so fucking crazy...i really like how you could easily translate the guitar riff of that part into a violin orchestral type thing
