First three tracks are sublime. Last two a bit more timid and mellow, but still great. This might be my favorite Coltrane, honestly. Between this and 'Giant Steps', anyway.

Here's a few you might dig, that I've been into recently:
• Matthew Tavares & Leland Whitty - "Visions" / neo-modern jazz-fusion, very good stuff. Haven't rated yet because I've only listened once, but easily 3.5 realm, maybe higher.
• Lonker See - "Hamza" / more psych-space rock, really, but a lot of jazz influence, super groovy, i think you'd like it a lot.
• Neptunian Maximalism - "Eons" / again, encompasses a ton of other genres besides just jazz, but avant-garde and free jazz are the most prevalent. massive album, even if it's not entirely your speed i think it's worth a listen from everyone
• The Comet Is Coming - "Trust in the Lifeforce of Deep Mystery" / funky ass nu-jazz from last year, great album with a lovely tone.
• The Necks - "Three" / a more post-rock and drone approach to avant-garde jazz, long songs with long passage, lots of little changes to keep thing interesting, some darker tones that i really like.
• Koenji Hyakkei - "Nivraym" / i think this is more considered "avant-prog" or "zeuhl" or whatever, but the jazzy influences are heavy and again, i think you might dig it regardless.

dedex, I feel like you'd dig the Lonker See album (Hamza), too. Jazz-influenced space rock with some neo-psych thrown in.

Yeah I dig the Comet Is Coming and The Necks although the latter can dish out some right turd.

I suggest Nat Birchall - Mysticism of Sound. A lovely listen.

T/t is one of my fav jazz tracks of all time. The aggressive belting solo absolutely does it for me.
