Does anybody know the chords for that awesome piano part in Destroy and Dominate?
|
| |
Well this is definitely different, they're trying not to repeat themselves.

The bonus track is the best song here. Funny how they couldn't just put it on the standard track listing

There was a lot of cool ideas but it was just missing the effortless power and flow from earlier records. The sound production was pretty shit here too.

I remember how floored I was by this when I got it. I unwrapped it and blasted it while playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Was hooked on this band ever since.

this was really fun to listen to while playing Left 4 Dead 2. I even made a spray out of the symbol on the cover and put it on random brick walls in the game

Oh hell yeah man I still love me some L4D2. One of my favorite things to do is throw on some metal and play that game for hours.

This aged far better than the stuff that followed it. Its not exactly experimental but they sound a bit more inspired and less formulaic to me.

underrated band for sure

Album has a ton of gnarly ideas and grooves. The weak production value really hurts it though.

This is top 3 Chimaira for me. I definitely like it more than Resurrection

Resurrection is much better instrumentally but the lyrics are problematic and laughable. This album has some great ideas but the production is weak trash. If this was recorded with Impossibility of Reason production it would’ve been awesome.

Try To Survive is such a banger here too.
I actually think instrumentally I find this album more consistent than the highs and lows of Resurrection.
I do agree the production here is a bit less tight / clean compared to the previous 3 but it sort of works for me since it's kind of a chunkier / more sludgy sound they went for
