The only Trophy Scars music I've heard is Alphabets and this. I'm embarrassed to admit I fell in love with Alphabets but now I know I MUST check out Hospital Music. I'm gonna hold off on a rating for a little because I still haven't gotten used to Bad Luck and may find myself liking it more later, but for now I really don't appreciate the vocals. It seems plain compared to the constant twisting that Alphabets featured. I was also really into the smoothness of the vocals in Alphabets.This Message Edited On 04.26.09

Just saw them live in NJ. They didn't get to play very long because of "time restrictions" but they played Bad Dreams, Anna Lucia, and I forget what else from Bad Luck. The crowd really lost it when they played Assistant.Assistants and suddenly there was no space between the crowd and Jerry. It was just about the best $15 bucks I ever spent.

This album hits the spot all the time. El Cowboy Red/Rojo, Bad Dreams and Good Luck are probably my favorites. Everything is great though.

Really though, album is great. It took me sometime to get past the vocal delivery, but it was definitely worth it.
