So this is where all that hype stems from? I can see it, album is absolute class. Back in the day I bet this was unbelievable live.

Sorry to go straight to the negative but Kingpin a 2/5? That's probably in my top 5 on this.

Sorry Boney, I find that track dull and stagnant. I feel like there's a bit of a problem when the fourth-longest song on an album goes next to nowhere during its runtime :/

Not a low point on this one. I should’ve started with this rather than YHF all those years back and which I assert is still overrated.

some real gems on the new deluxe re-release of this. sun's a star and losing interest among others, just shows how good this album truly is.

the music on here is good, but doesnt really do anything for me, could be anybody doing these low key folk/country rock ballads, I dig much better the stuff they do on the Whole Love and A Ghost is Born

A lot of the time when I listen to "Misunderstood" I'll anticipate hearing "take the guitar for a walk" instead of "take the guitar player for a ride" and I'll get the image in my head of someone literally walking their guitar like a dog down the street, leash around neck

I had a strange dream last night that Wilco started off as a black metal band and this was a transitional record where they began to move towards Americana/alt-country

It was bizarre, you had your "Far, Far Away"s n' whatnot and then out of the blue would come something that sounded like it belonged on Under the Sign of the Black Mark or Afterimage of Autumn
