I was absolutely thrilled with this album. I wasn't sure what to expect from it as i received as a gift from a relitive and had never before heard of "The Arcade Fire" or been much of an Indie fan. But i must say this album blew me away all songs were full of emotion, a sort of unique sound in the guitar department. And the instruments like the accordian and the violin (especially the violin, like in the end of rebellion) added so much emotion to the songs. I've always been more of a metal head but it was nice to hear some stuff from the indie world.

Bought the cd today. I have to say that the reason I bought it was because I believe it is the most emotionaly-wrought and fueled album + consept that has been in mainstream music for a long time.
To me, its a classic in any right.
