Why is this getting lots of hype? It's solid no doubt, but I really can't get myself to enjoy it as much as others. Good range throughout, but it doesn't really grab me much.

Because it's sooooooooo good. I always manage to forget how much I like it, and then play it again expecting to drop my rating and and up considering raising it instead. Every song is awesome, the range it covers is effortless and brilliantly executed, and the concept rules face.

Also, the dude is incredibly talented. He composed every second of the album and recorded it and produced it all by himself in his house and it sounds as huge as it does. Album rules.
