First off I am by no means a fan of rap. I was at one point and just let it go after a while. I think the reason for my distaste in rap these days is because of rappers such as T.I., Lil Wayne and any of the other rappers that rap the same things and ways. POS is entirely different from them. Actually from what I've heard he actually has a song that bashes rappers that rap about material possessions and other things such as women, bling and drugs. His songs are filled with lyrics of things that actually matter. He doesn't brag about all the shit that he has or how many women he can get in the sack. His style of rap is new too, incorporating the drums into his music was such a smart move and having his mates from Doomtree feature in his tracks was amazing too, especially Dessa who I plan on listening to next. My favorite tracks were all of them but he standouts were Let It Rattle, Drumroll, Purexed, Graves, Low Light Low Life and The Brave and The Snake. I rate almost all of the songs at 4/5 or better. I am so looking forward to acquiring his 1st and 2nd albums soon. Thank you POS for giving me a reason to have faith in rap again.

This is what I have been looking for! Purexed is one of the best songs of the year and best rap song I've heard.

This is top 5 of '09 material.

On his 3rd album, P.O.S. takes his original fusion of punk/rock & hip-hop to new levels. The live drums are loud, the guitars fuzzy & choruses include gang vocals. It's initially abrasive & not very immediate, but P.O.S.'s rapid fire rhymes are as passionate as ever & his witty lyrics shine through (especially on 'Been Afraid' & 'Out of Category'). The menacing nature of the closing 3 tracks is also engrossing and tops 'Never Better' off nicely. However, count me in the minority in thinking that this is inferior to predecessor 'Audition', as the hooks are reduced & many songs feel incomplete at around the 3 minute mark. Recommended Tracks: Been Afraid, Goodbye, Out of Category & Low Light Low Life.
