I know the new tracks seem to be even suckier, two amazing albums (tho i like leitmotif more both are excellent) then they go all sell-out lets make "good songs" instead of a complete album and what we got is mostly decent if not bad songs

This album is awesome but it does have some songs that I don't care for like zebraskin and spitshine. Awesome album, but nothing Dredg does will ever compare to El Cielo. I've heard that their new stuff is terrible, which makes me a sad panda.

It's true. It's been long since I last time gave this one some rounds. Theres a kinda contradictional memories with it. It's a great collection of songs but as an album it's really nothing more than that. Some excellent songs still - "Sang Real", "Jamais Vu" & "Ode to The Sun" stand out. This Message Edited On 02.08.09

That's what happens, when you play catch without arms...
SO good this is.

They're perfect live. I definitely earned more respect for them after watching about 8-9 live videos, and they just rock shit live. Definitely bumping this and El Cielo a couple ranks based on that. I didn't really understand what the music was going for, but after watching it live it all makes sense. I feel like a dumbass for ever knocking them.

well i dunno about live but this record is greaaat

Flawless. Especially the vocalist. Kinda weird stage presence, but his voice is as powerful as on record. This is the video that really turned my opinion on them

Ballsack, really? That bums me out. Well, regardless, I kinda realized the point of the band that I was missing though it took me a long fucking time. I'm still not sure if they're the end all be all Godsend shit that everyone makes em out to be though. Regardless, I've gained a new-found respect for them.

Though I will say, I think it'd be fuckin' hilarious to see someone play catch without arms.

This has continued to grow on me, I have even contemplated a classic rating. Different Dredg albums at different times of day/moods. El Cielo=night (after 11:00PM), CWA=day (preferably driving backroads). Also the little kid singing planting seeds own the brushstrokes.

I just got my girlfriend into them, it's nice to have a band we both like as most girls aren't into metal. Sang Real and Zebraskin are my favs off this so far.

This is such a good album, although I don't think it's any better or worse than El Cielo, they're such different albums it seems wrong to compare them...

This was my first impression of dredg and perhaps since i started here and not with the earlier albums is why i tend to like this album alot more than maybe some other followers of the band. Not a weak track in this album and really has alot of parallels in sound with birds of tokyo to from australia i found listening to it. Very enjoyable tho, top album

I'm sooooo close to giving this a classic rating...oddly, this was the most difficult Dredg album for me to get into.
