This is a weird album & not what I expected. It mixes the shallow & shameless 1980’s inspired pop of its infectiously addictive singles, with some over-ambitious indie-like experimentation that totally falls flat. Katie White’s vocals are fun in patches, but do grate after a while… Sort of like the album as a whole, which is catchy at its best, but too often crosses the line into annoying. Passable due to its highlights. Recommended Tracks: Great DJ, That’s Not My Name & Keep Your Head.
