I actually very much love Vol 3. call it a guilty pleasure, but yeah, objectively, slipknot (and Korn for that matter) kind of represent everything that metal can be when it sucks.

Don't forget Sonic Syndicate, if anything, they're worse than Atreyu in that they call themselves Melodic Death Metal when they are actually just Atreyu clones.

I think the whole lack of emotional depth thing seems to be a little controversial so I'm sorry about that. I still stick behind my views 100% though as I simply do not feel anything when listening to this, seriously good on you if you do, but I don't.
As for above statements Slipknot > Korn
