Man, this is pretty amazing. Closure is excellent, The Gallows is really solid (but kind of unspectacular imo) but then The Absence is just...fucking...wow.

Might up the rating just for that song.

Fucking FUCK Descent!

Fuck me, that's the other long song they had posted on their myspace. It was The Art, Closure, and The Absence...I think.

Thanks jingle. They have that for DL somewhere?

Thanks for that link to get "the Art of Letting Go." That song is brilliant as are the three here. Lately i haven't been able to get enough of this. Fuck descent records, really. I think Epilogue would've given Sagas some tough competition for my number 1 album of this year.

haha your welcome and i know what you mean.

This probably would've been my album of the year if it wasn't an Ep.

I just got the Forlorn yesterday, haven't listened to it yet but I'm expecting good things.

It's heavier and more...brutal isn't the right word, but whereas this is conveys desperation and melancholy, Forlorn convey's more anger and dissatisfaction. It's a pretty different kind of sound methinks, but still awesome.

I do like their newer stuff better, but you're review is right on, there just isn't enough here, it's such a fucking tease.

Trivium dropped the ball when they decided to become a band.

They dropped the ball with The Crusade.

And this seemed interesting, if also kinda tragic for them, so I followed the link and this is really awesome.

I wish they'd released a full album of this stuff...
