if mardraum was their transitional album then on here they fully embrace prog rock as an essential part of their sound. can't say which of the two i prefer so far, but this is definitely an interesting listen.

Certainly is. I prefer Mardraum, but this is soooo good too. Their transition era is fantastic and by far my fave Enslaved. Nothing quite like it out there, before or since.
