Yeah their new Jack Sparrow look-alike singer defines boring. The only song I really liked his voice on was the Swallow the Sun song "These Low Lands" but then again, Swallow the Sun are godlike so they could have Kermit the Frog sing them a song and it'd still rock.

swallow the sun doesn't put me into a coma like latter day amorphis does, but i would agree that tales from the thousand lakes era amorphis is better than swallow the sun

Yeah I love this. Definitely a landmark for Melodeath, with amazing melodies and the Doom giving it the necessary balance of emotion. The average rating should be higher!
