Mm I think Treeman is one of the best songs of the album, only the spoken word part sucks, but apart from that it's great. I like the "still the same thing" part.

only true FB fans will love this . their lyrics are meaningful and their music is very original . dark rules.

The lyrics seem to have a lot to do with paranoia and... well, fear. I like it. This is getting really close to a 5, by the way. I'm listening to it over and over and over and over again. Everything's Not Shitty = WIN.

So, I love TOAM. Should I spend what little of my iTunes credit I have left on this cd?
|
| |
Depends. There seems to be a love/hate thing going on. I happen to LOVE this CD. So I would say yes.

I loved TAOM and I really like this too. It's more along taom vein than their older stuff.

wow, i just got some really new awesome headphones and this honestly sounds 10x better. Of course i still doubt the direction that the lyrics and maybe the more simplistic song structure has gone in, but it doesnt matter considering how i enjoy this now.

Now i finally have the CD, i realise how wrong i was to be influenced by this review beforehand, it scared the shit out of me. I thought the album would be terrible, and i would love them a little less, and that they were adopting a 'scene' type of formular to their music. But their latest effort, is pretty darn good. I only had to have a few listens before i found this album so good.
Everything's Not Shitty is fucking great i fell in love with it instantly..
Its nice to see they've changed a bit.. progressed again, and i don't think its for the worse at all, its definitely for the better. I don't really see the conformity. I like the fact i can sit back and listen to all of fbtmof records and not be listening to the same album over and over again. Their sound has changed a bit, but fans shouldn't be put off. This Message Edited On 01.05.09

I disagree with this review on so many levels. I see nothing trendy about any of the vocal styles, genre of the album, structure of the music etc. I also find Treemans' chorus very catchy. The lyrics might be questionable at times, but sometimes the weird lyrics set the atmosphere just right. Jabberwocky is perfect as well.

This album was fucking great. Perhaps a step down from Mouth, but still damn good.
