"The opening track, Center" Clouds is the opening track. This album is nowhere near a 9/10. It doesn't come close to Ruun or Isa. The Watcher is by far the best track, New Dawn, and Reflection are good and the rest is quite boring. Especially Ground and Center, nothing interesting at all in those songs.

I liked Ground. Center is fairly boring, but the last 2 minutes or so is pretty tight. New Dawn (fav song) and Reflection are awesome. Found Watcher pretty boring to tbh, though it makes for a good closer.

Better then Ruun.... you must listen to them for different reasons then me because there's no way haha. You still didn't fix your mistake in the review though. In the second paragraph you say that Center is the opening track when it's Clouds.

I actually think this is quite a bit better than the In Mourning record that came out earlier this year and which everyone's been lauding. i found that fairly boring. This is better.

Okay, maybe not boring. It was just okay. I think the big part was the almost complete lack of clean vocals. Which wouldn't have bothered me, except that the vocalist's clean voice was absolutely incredible, and the sections where he sang where the three best parts of the album, lol. The balance here is very, very desirable. Plus I'm loving the variety within the songs.

I think I'm going to have to check this out now. When I listened to the songs on myspace a while ago I thought they were pretty bad, but I just listened to Ground and it was fucking awesome.

Pretty bad? I should slap you. I kid but have you heard any of the last three Enslaved albums? The progression from each album wasn't suprising, to me at least.
