New things in Worlds on Fire? Really? That song, while fantastic at first, and in fact still fun to listen to now - mainly due to the guitar - nothing new pops out at me. No, the new things I've been discovering lately on the album are largely in The Way and Sum of 1 (neither of which I liked at first, but I love em now). Rain is probably the worst on the album, its just a rehash of Gone and A Slow Descent, with a little bit of Begins Here thrown in (and I found that album largely boring *shrug*)

Nah, most of the album lacks the energy on Window and Watcher

There IS no energy on Window and the Watcher, idiot. It's so middle of the road.

...If I get energy off it, I get energy - doesn't mean I'm an idiot, idiot.

I wanted to see these guys at the Penrith Panthers club, but even though its licensed all ages, the ticket sellers were only selling to over 18s. Knobs.

The most rock you must get is Summer of 69 if you think that song is energetic.

Ah, just went through it and I really like it surprisingly enough. A lot of genuinely good tracks. I really like Worlds on Fire a lot.

aww be nice atavan, we cant all be john petruccis.

agree on rain being the worst though, just keep waiting for a massive chorus from clint but it never comes..

the way is another of my favourites on this, as well as room without a view.

wish i could see this tour, but no, we arent allowed all age gigs in melbourne, sick line up too

way to rub it in.

although i was reading an interview before, theres plans to do a live release at some stage, so that will make me happy.

and get this, their doing a remix of aisles of white, one of the guys from the resin dogs is doing it. random as.

heres the quote:

Hall also reveals that, with any luck, we may soon hear The Butterfly Effect in clubs of a different kind – he is currently waiting to receive a remix of previous single Aisles Of White from Dave Atkins of The Resin Dogs.

“I’m just waiting for him to drop by and give it to me, and I’m going to put it up on the MySpace,” Hall enthuses. “It’s nothing like the original song - it’s a little bit more ‘trip-hop’. He’s taken the (original) rhythm section out of it, and put a totally different sort of bass and drum groove behind it. I’m trying to work out with Roadshow where we can use that little bit of content, ‘cos it’s just very different, and I really like it. Over the last couple of years I’ve had the privilege of becoming very good friends with Dave, and I think I’d like to get him do a few more of the tracks as well, if not get him to write a new song altogether with us.”

danTANK - "After listening to the first two and half minutes of World on Fire I had to make sure it wasn't a new Muse song. Chord progessions, vocal/guitar/bass/drum patterns all sound like Muse."
