I honestly can't get enough of this album. I thought I would be disappointed in it but I just keep listening to it over and over and haven't really gotten bored of it yet.

I personally really enjoy this album. There isn't a song I don't like. While I don't particularly agree with the review, I can understand where the writer is coming from and it is well written.

I actually thought this wore off significantly after awhile.

Anybody notice how the song 'dead memories', sounds very similar to the song 'scars' by the band element eighty? at least the chorus does to me. but thats assuming anyone even knowing who element eighty are just my lousy two cents. check that out.

I like this album the most out of all their releases
only a few miss tracks on this album (butchers hook, this cold black) compared to previous efforts..
i was never a huge fan off the first album i dont think ive been able to listen to it from start to finish yet. either way the only good song on that album is wait and bleed.
i for one love the variety on this album.. too many records that just have the songs kinda blend into each other...

for me butchers hook was definitely the weakest track on the album.

I really liked this album, tbh. I was hoping for something along the lines of Iowa again, but this grew on me and now I really wish I could start hating it. Psychosocial, All Hope Is Gone and 'Til We Die are great songs.
Good review, although I disagree. Its a new approach in their music, but one thing I can't stand is that people generally want a band to change their sound, but when they do, the same people flame them for not sticking to their roots. This Message Edited On 11.04.08

Though i disagree for the most part, this and Atavan's are the best reviews for this album. My view lies between those two reviews. My favorite album by them anyway. This Message Edited On 11.19.08

For a minute there I thought you were serious, but I then I thought "nah, Iowa better than this? Slipknot-best band ever?"
Good one.
