ok, i have to say, alasana's guitarists, especially who ever plays lead sounds like my 11 year old brother playing a bunch of off key hamer-ons. the only thing good about this band is the vocals

A) the screamer kicks ass, and should not be in this band, he would fit with music such as As I Lay Dying

B) the Singer singer is just hilarious because he sucks so bad, therefore making the band entertaining to listen to.

its not a 1, more like a 2, and your review, no offence, was terrible, it was just a bash on the band and in no way did it tell people who have never heard this band what to expect.

PS the summary above is hilarious, except the screamer is shit also, he practically whispers his goofy lows through the microphone.

Alesana actually tried to fuse Pop and Metalcore on this album... How ridiculous!

This album is not even close to as good as their debut but I still enjoy it.

Um, this isn't much of a review, in my opinion. You're basically just thrashing Alesana overall. There's no support to your observations, and you're basically just repeating the same thing over and over: "This is atrocious." Come up with some creativity and come back later, because Alesana isn't nearly as bad as you're trying to say they are.

Album is bad,
Review is also shit, supporting my theory that kalkal50 doesn't know how to write a review.

maybe you should become a nun or something because i don't remember the last the time a subjective assertion provided evidence for a theory (cuz you know, whether i'm a good writer or not was totally controversial to begin with)

Experiment on the snare drum? "6-string" power chords? You even criticized for having 3 guitarists without even knowing why they have a 3rd one

I will say this is a well-written review, but don't criticize the way a musicians play if you don't know anything about the instruments.

I dont understand the review? why are you talking about Adam Ferguson So much? he's not the main singer and he rarely sings?! SHAWN MILKE is the lead singer, IDIOT!!! get your fucking facts straight before you go bashing an amazing CD from an AMAZINGLY TALLLEENNTEEDDDD band. thank you.

I enjoy the their other two albums more, this one just lost what made Alesana so much fun to listen to in my opinion. I couldn't make it through the entire album in one sitting, which hardly ever happens. A disappointment to be sure, but The Emptiness picks everything up quite nicely.

This is possibly the worst album I've ever listened to.
We need negative ratings.
