It does. It tries too hard. They can't settle on a style so they go through the motions trying stuff out. It's like a demo CD with mastered production. Plus it sucks.

AngelPhoenix, I gave it a chance. It's amateurish, imitative, the hooks are flat and bland, the lyrics are flat out laughable, the guitar work rivals Kerry King in terms of stupidity, half of the members are useless, the shout-rapping is as bad as ever. I could go on.

So don't make assumptions about how you figured I wouldn't like this. I liked Volume 3, to a point. And I liked the band when they came out (ie: puberty).

The fact you gave this a 4.5 just to counteract low-ratings is pretty juvenile by the way.

Nah, not really, I'd give it at least a 3.5, probably a 4, need more listens.

And I didn't assume. I knew.

And anyway, a lot of the low ratings are pretty juvenile. People will give this 1's just because it's slipknot. So I'll give it a 4.5 for the same reason. Don't really care what you think of that. This Message Edited On 08.24.08

I was just talking to Meatplow about idiotic ratings. What a coincidence.
