Maiden is my favorite band, but I haven't listened to this album enough to rate it. I just remember Mother Russia being pretty cool.

I'll be the first to admit this is below every other maiden album. however i'm a fanboy so i still love it :D
It's way better than fear of the dark which was way too long for it's own good.
This one however is short and sweet which is perfect. The good songs are Tail Gunner, Holy Smoke, Assassin and Bring your daughter.
plus how can you not enjoy "Better watch out! Cos i'm the Assassiiinnn!!!"

I never actually even listened to this record. I think youve all done a convincing job for me to stay away from it haha. Shame, since I love the Maiden cds I have.

All Maiden is good, just some is better than others. All their albums from their debut up to Seventh Son are amazing, this up to Virtual XI are okay and Brave New World onwards is brillliant. But this through Virtual XI aren't as bad as some would claim.This Message Edited On 04.16.09

I recently streamed this album through Virtual XI, being the only Maiden albums I didn't have. I'm happy I streamed this one. The title track is really good but everything else is so uninspired.
