this whiney lame pop bull**** makes me boil inside. I've listened to processions of the fates and a violent strike and brain washed my self to thinking that it was good.... there are too many keyboards to many vocal parts and way to many pointless non-creative arpeggios/ solos... it's like they said hey guys everyone write a number on a piece of paper and we'll put them all in a hat, and as I draw them I will play that fret on my guitar!!! the rhythm is like they stole it from nickleback. Every thing is way to simple wrapped up in this tech wrapper... They also said that they recorded this record with a live feel, not doing bits and pieces of solos and crap..... but their in studio videos show tapley trying over 10 times for a 4 second part of a solo???? I am disappointed!!! I see why A.J. left.... He was smart...

Seems there is a bit of a bias judging from the second paragraph. I agree the album is lacking, but not quite to the extent that you're saying.

But even though i don't really agree, i can't ignore how well your review was written.

There's bias in every review ever written. I just had the balls to acknowledge it. And if you'd actually read that paragraph you'd see that I saw they had tons of potential and that the last album, while underwritten and amateurish, wasn't all that bad.

they had tons of potential
they had it, but then they decided to fuck that out the window and have a guy talk to you for 40 minutes with ridiculous sweeping in the background.

This review was very well written. Although I'd give the album a bit more credit. I genuinely like about three songs on the album. I feel you cheated their drummer in your bashing of the rhythm section though. Guy is really good (although he was better on Nocturne).

He is good but pretty unassuming on this album.

I'd say he's probably the most interesting part about this album.

I'm gonna stay the hell away from this. Saw them live at Take Action, and the only interesting thing there was the guitarists enormous dreadlocks.

holy shit these guys sound like PtH without the musical elements and actual talent, and with a much worse vocalist.

I liked 4 songs off of this album but they have already become boring. Even if you like the album it has no replay value. The few cool things they do on this album just lose their flare and are only interesting for a few listens.

I don't think they sound like PTH at all on this album.

Except for the beginning of Breathing Life, which is a blatantly obvious knockoff.
