Haha as soon as I read this I immediately thought of the Anberlin situation as well. There are some voices that simply cannot be replaced. Michael’s voice + the strings was this band’s main draw and switching him up simply won’t work at this point of their career imo

Supposedly they'll go on without him but they're going to meet the Flyleaf fate. Red as we know it is done.
I'm gutted about it but....strangely maybe not as much as I should be? Mike is arguably my favorite vocalist and such a massive part of my musical influences. But I can't say their career trajectory has excited me. Maybe this is fitting.
