I would never expect these guys to put out the same album twice. However, this is perfect example that a complete revamp in a bands sound really doesn't do any good. Kind of feels to me like they are hurting any integrity that they had left.

This generation's Cold Lake. I'm a sucker for keys and clean vocals but man, it sting's the nostrils. I bet I could use this as a sample and would immediately become my metalcore friends new favorite band.

Okay I'm almost completely through it and I wouldn't say its absolutely god-awful. The first 2 tracks are pretty decent but it kinda is ruined by the clean vocals of later tracks cause they're entirely random and out of place.

I just think that this album is being bashed so much because its an average album from a band that once made the great None So Vile, arguably one of the best if not THE best tech death albums ever.

Times change, lineups change, I'm taking this for what it is in 2008, rather than comparing it to earlier work, that Cryptopsy is dead.

Once again I'm not saying this is amazing but it certainly isn't god-awful.

I haven't actually heard this entire album but I know that if those 2 pre-production tracks hadn't leaked there would be mostly 'so-so' reviews, with a few faux elitists trashing it completely and a few retards proclaiming it to be a masterpiece of modern metal.

Cryptopsy is officially team hideous. they already had a sasquatch, an alien and some random european looking guy but now this.....this is just gross.
