Elephant Talk is a life-changing experience

I've seen KC when they came in Montréal for that album. THAT is what I call a life changing experience. =]

What did they play off their classic albums when you saw them Jethro?

Too little things really. 21st Century Schizoid Man, Red and ...maybe Talking Drum. And that's it, if memory serves well.

Yeah I've read somewhere that Fripp wasnt interested to revisit their classic stuff at all from the moment Adrian Belew entered to join the fold. Weirdo that Fripp. Shame.

I think Belew's voice wouldn't lend itself too well to The Court of the Crimson King, for example, which is one thing I would definitely want to hear when seeing King Crimson.

Musically and lyrically, Elephant Talk is compelling. Makes me want to write songs like that. That's all I was saying.

You have a good point right there, Nag. It's probably THE main reason why they didnt include their gems of the 70s. But I suspect there are some other obscure reasons coming from the hard headed Fripp. But I can assure you, their performance did pretty much make up for the lack of those classic gems.

@ Jeff; Correction; INdiscipline is a beast
