robnathanson, are you actulally French? Or is it just under your name for show. If you are, then you might be forgiven - but if not, then **** it man, buy a dictionary and learn to spell!

Also, you should understand that the reason people are burning your review in many, if not most, cases, is that you JUST gave an opinion - you didn't detail much at all about the songs, and mostly just said "this was repetetive". Well done for writing a review, was it your first go? It looked like it.

Primus rocks, but there is no standard for reviewing. I only give 5's if the song is an utter masterpiece, which has occurred less than twice on any album thus far. People give everything 5's because they love every song, and give 4's to the "lesser" songs. I have an idea, how about a rating system with two ratings: awesome and less awesome? I would give few Primus songs a five.

when people say primus is an aquired taste, their right. in order to appreciate the music you cant expect the ordinary, just listen and appreciate the excellent musicianship. people who are into power chord bands might not be able to appreciate les and crew right away, but they should at least give them a try and see what their missing

still haven't met a person who doesn't like primus.

except the people who haven't heard of them...

very hard to classify. they're one of most unique bands out there today. not to great of a review however. hillbilly rock? i had a good chuckle the first time i saw that. the do have some bluegrass, or as you would like to call it "hillbilly rock" influence in them.
