I've only heard 3 of their albums so far. Dig them all but this is by far the best.

I've heard this and a few others but I honestly don't remember them lol. But that's more because I either heard them on shuffle / at friend's houses / while gaming.

Seen them a few times though and w/e they played was awesome. Def gonna jam soon.

my first concert had this era/lineup of origin opening for suffo and necrophagist[and like 6 other bands it was summer slaughter], i would say they upstaged the entire show in terms of just being straight up mindblowing. this and informis are my favs but all their albums are pretty solid, one of the early 2010s albums had underwhelming vox but otherwise all quality

it was at a club venue that'd later get shutdown for being a weed smuggling spot, everytime a band went off stage it just reaked lol. i'd been to local/house gigs prior but this was like the first 'ticket' i bought. got there at like 2pm and forgot the first few bands [either redguard or blackguard/some locals] : beneath the massacre, after the burial, origin, born of osiris, [the tour flyer claims dying fetus which i've seen like 5-6 times but not sure if they actually played that show, most likely but i remember a band canceling may've been decrepit birth], winds of plague, darkest hour, thaan suffo/necro.... it pretty much sealed my interest in dm and almost the whole show was killer. born of osiris was probably the weakest, was the first day of the tour buut they'd have shit like their bassist not being plugged in for 70% of their set lol. origin upstaged pretty much all the openers but beneath was sick and i'm pretty glad i got to see deathcore era after the burial, was kinda zoned out by the time winds of plague went on annnd if i had one big gripe with the show : darkest hour played like a headliner set despite not being a headliner and cut down suffocations settime to likeee 25-30 mins, seen suffo several times so not a big deal now but at the time kinda bummed me out. annnnd biggest regret : i did noot pace myself for 8+hours of death metal, was a pretty chubby teen and by the time necrophagist went on my feet were pretty much murdered and i ended up resting at the side of the venue for most of their set soo didn't get a solid view of the band. from what i can tell it was one of their last us tours but they did play 'a new song' lol. got a lotta little asides but thats the general rundown, as far as origin goes the vocalist left the band like a few weeks into the tour annnd thought that was wild cause he killed it live

LOL @ you being too fat to stay for Necro, that is fucking hilarious, also holy fuck is that a wild lineup for a first show. Cool you got to see ATB and BOO when they were probably still good (what year was this??). I'm jealous

i thiiink 2009 born was still very deathcore and just had the misfortune of playing directly after beneath/origin lol, and yeah lol it was mainly just my feet being in pain but i wasn't used to standing around for an entire day, i still technically saw necro buut i probably saw like a single member thru the audience at any one time lmao. started going to shows like every other month after that annd managed to see a lot of the deathcore/djent bands of the era/ techdeath+grind / and a lot of the 90s giants were doing tours then so caught a bunch of the classics. from md/dc so i got to see a lot of the sumerian bands attached to like any gig

it's kind of a bucketlist thing for me to write up all the stuff i saw back then, memories gotten a bit blurrier over the years soo should just write it down before i start forgetting entire shows, definitely had a few 'oh yeah we did see that' moments with my friends lol

lmao, i'll try but i procrastinate like hell soo might take a bit. one of my fav subjects on sputnik is concert experiences, it's a great nostalgia trip and always fun to hear others stories. i've been craving seeing some bands lately, last concert i went to was like first week of march 2020 before everything shut down
