I haven't really listened to this much lately but "Romantic Rights" and "Black History Month" are hot stuff. The inital interest dies down pretty quickly though.

gd call mr basswaaah, probs not as obsessed but yeah they r gd. apparently fans (such as my self) of lightning bolt call DFA politening bolt because they share a similar genre but DFA is no where near as crazy as lightning bolt lol

DFA were shy yet inventive wen i saw them last year tho

My girlfriend loves this band, she lent me this album, but its a copy and is all scratched up, so doesnt give it justice.

I missed them live, heard they were unbelievably good.

I feel sorta stupid thinking that dfa1979 were unheard of outside of Canada.

Am I the only one that thinks that this band is so relentlessly boring?

The riffs are cool for a bit, but I find they lose substance fast.

yeah I guess you are. This Jesse is a role model to me. I couldn't believe it when my brother said that what I thought was guitar was just the bass. I love DFA'79 cus they are no one lese like them.

When somebody told me about this band with two guys who play bass and drums, I thought the same thing. But then I listened to it...

This album is alright. It got old kind of quickly after I listened to it a few times, though.

"You're A Woman, I'm A Machine" is great but I don't think it describes the sound of the whole album very well or am I wrong? Because I only listened to "Little Girl" as well.
