I agree with the meaning of 'Enfilade' a few comments back.
There's a lyric in the first verse that goes

'This syringe will last a life span/it's filled with bait and tackle'

Obviously it's talking about how drugs will hook you in.
I love how they make stories in songs, they do that really well in One Armed Scissor too, the story is about a space crew who's life supply is running out and no one can reach them in space, apparently that's a metaphor for how they felt on tour... like no one could help them and they were at breaking point.

I have listened to this album soooooo many times. I just wish I would've been a fan earlier. I would have loved to see these guys live. Key tracks are: "Pattern Against User", One-Armed Scissor", "Sleepwalk Capsules", "Quarantined", and "Cosmonaut". If this album was a cottage I'd rent it for the summer.

A classic, the only songs I dont like that much are 'Pattern Against User' and 'Non Zero Possibility' but even those songs arent too bad. It's a good thing they broke up though before they got caught up in all this Emo shit, once again another great genre (in the case of bands like Fugazi, Thursday, ATDI and Sunny Day Real Estate) is gonna be raped by the corporate companies and left to die and rot once a knew fad comes around, as was the case with the perfectly-fine-as-it-was grunge genre.

This may have been $28 (Canadian, :eek, but it was worth every penny. I may have found my new favorite album.

This has turned into my favorite album. No matter how many times I listen to it, it never gets old. Arcarsenal and Cosmonaut are pretty much the best tracks they ever recorded.

I can't believe everyone who reviewed this album gave it a 5. It's not perfect by any means; it's not even the best ATDI album by a long shot. This Message Edited On 09.02.06

At the drive-in were a great band, their music is unique. Sparta and The Mars Volta are great aswell but they lack something that At the drive-in were able to capture in their music. If only they could re-form, alas all good things must come to and end

this album is doubtless amazing, but i think its made out to be way way more than it really is. its a great piece of post-hardcore, but i dont think it is the musical equivalent to the second coming that you all make it out to be.

Today, I was hyped up on Rockstar Energy Drink, so I listened to the first couple tracks and pretended to be Cedric acting like a crazy motherfucker.

Not easy to get into the record IMO, but excellent work from the maybe best musicians in the post-hardcore scene.
