remember when this brilliant album came out and black-metal heads everywhere refused to admit they liked it because it was too girly and diverse but at the same time were slowly shedding their attachment to shitty French BM demos in favor of the bands slowly bringing in post-rock or industrial thinking
those were such cute confused times
this album is a 4 for sure

That first track is all sorts of horrifying, man I remember this being really weird, but I might have been too young to appreciate what's going on here. I gotta dust this one off and give it a spin.

haha same, think i first heard this like 10 years ago and i liked moments from it but over the years i've come to appreciate more. it's such a unique album with like this horror carnival atmosphere
